Job summary

Fluence is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead turnkey EPC/core battery energy storage projects in the UK & Ireland, delivering on time, on budget and safely. You will work in a matrixed, virtual environment with multiple stakeholders and report to the Head of Projects, UK & Ireland.

Responsibilities include P&L ownership for projects up to $30M+, ensuring safety, quality, timeliness, and customer satisfaction, and coordinating cross-functional teams through execution and handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, physics, or other technical discipline.
• Combined 10 years' experience in project management, construction management, or engineering within the power generation market.
• Minimum 5 years P&L responsibility delivering equipment supply or turn-key projects.
• Familiarity with codes & standards for electrical equipment and energy infrastructure project construction.
• Experience managing subcontractor contracts and a matrix organization.
• Senior Project Management certification (e.g. PMI PgMP, IPMA Level B).
• Strong written and oral communication skills for internal and external audiences.
• Knowledge of DS3 Services, Eirgrid Grid Code and SEM is a plus.
• Business level English and willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of turn-key EPC/core projects with objective to deliver on time, on budget, and safely.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, to code, on budget, and to customer satisfaction under ISO 9001.
• Lead teams in reviewing designs, managing schedules, budgets, and safety/quality plans.
• Resolve technical issues to meet quality, time and cost targets, and coordinate with partners.
