Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Senior Associate/Associate Environmental Consultant to lead multidisciplinary projects from feasibility through to Environmental Impact Assessment. You will coordinate environmental, social and sustainability workstreams, manage risk, and mentor junior staff within a supportive, employee-owned environment.

You will engage clients and stakeholders, integrate sustainability into design, and contribute to fee estimates and business development, with hybrid working

Qualifications

• Chartership through a relevant organisation.
• Demonstrable knowledge of EIA and UK legislation.
• Successful track record in project and construction environmental management.
• Flexibility to travel away from home base as needed.
• Line management experience advantageous.
• Commercial awareness and budget management experience.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Strong IT skills.
• Excellent self-starting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate projects from feasibility to Environmental Impact Assessments across regimes.
• Manage environmental appraisals and EIA processes within planning environments.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure delivery to programme and budget.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior staff and contribute to business development.
