Job summary
Dalcour Maclaren is seeking a Senior Environmental Planner to lead environmental planning services for varying projects in the UK. You will manage planning reports and applications, coordinate with client teams, specialists and LA officers, and support business development.
The role requires a planning degree with MRTPI, strong analytical/written/verbal communication, and GIS proficiency. UK driving licence and team leadership are valued; flexible working is available.
Qualifications
- Relevant planning degree and MRTPI membership (chartered).
- Strong analytical and presentation skills with clear written/verbal communication.
- Willingness to write/prepare fee proposals and advise on multi-disciplinary projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of environmental planning services for projects and sites with varying environmental sensitivities.
- Coordinate with client teams, technical specialists and Local Authority planning officers; deliver planning reports and applications.
- Mentor junior staff, monitor progress, and support business development across the team.
