Job summary

Millbank Holdings Ltd is seeking a Senior Environmental Adviser to take on environmental ownership on a major UK project. You will lead the environmental team, ensure ISO and regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement across site and supply chain.

You’ll develop and implement CEMP and related plans, manage permits, and influence stakeholders including clients and regulators to deliver robust environmental performance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading environmental compliance on live infrastructure projects.
• Proven capability delivering CEMPs and environmental management plans.
• Strong understanding of environmental monitoring and permits.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental aspects, impacts assessments and mitigation.
• Develop and implement CEMP and project plans (pollution prevention, waste).
• Brief site teams and supply chain; deliver training and toolbox talks.
• Manage environmental consents and permits; maintain registers.
• Review method statements to embed environmental protections.
• Support monitoring (air, water, noise, vibration) as required.
• Lead incident response, investigation, and regulator liaison.
• Support audits and contribute to ISO 14001 / BS 50001 commitments.
• Build relationships with clients, authorities and regulators.
• Contribute to bids and work-winning activities as required.
