Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant to coordinate environmental inputs to EIA screening, scoping and Environmental Statements across UK&I projects. You’ll work within our established EIA team, engaging with specialist disciplines and clients to ensure high-quality environmental deliverables.

You’ll contribute to multiple consenting regimes, support strategy development, and promote environmental services to drive project success in a hybrid, flexible work environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in an environmental discipline (preferablyMasters) and/or professional membership.
• EIA consultancy experience, coordinating environmental reports and reviewing chapters.
• Understanding of relevant consenting regimes and ability to work with teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate environmental inputs to EIA screening and scoping reports and Environmental Statements.
• Ensure deliverables meet high quality standards through detailed reviews.
• Develop project management skills, coordinating resources and budgets.
• Collaborate with integrated design teams to improve environmental outcomes.
• Maintain direct client contact and liaise with internal supply teams.
• Support business development and fee/technical proposal development.
