Job summary

Ferrovial Construction is looking for a Senior Environmental Advisor to join the delivery team for a sewage treatment works project in London. You will ensure sustainability requirements are met and support carbon reduction efforts.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a related discipline and experience in an environmental role. This position offers opportunities for both travel and on-site involvement in Slough.

Qualifications

• Experience managing environmental consents, licenses, and permit applications.
• Knowledge of Thames Water procedures or standards.
• Understanding of legislative and policy related to treatment of water.

Responsibilities

• Act as the lead contact for environmental matters.
• Prepare environmental documentation including management plans.
• Carry out site inspections and internal audits.
• Monitor environmental performance and prepare reports.

Skills

Experience in an environmental role

Confident communicator

Knowledge of environmental consents and permits

Familiarity with waste management

Collaborative working with clients

Education

Degree in environmental/ecological or sustainability discipline
