Job summary

Ferrovial Construction UK is seeking an Environmental & Sustainability Advisor to support major UK infrastructure projects, working with the Environmental Manager and project teams to drive compliance and improve sustainability performance.

You will prepare and review environmental documentation, conduct site assurance visits and deliver clear reports and dashboards, embedding best practice across site operations and supply chains.

Qualifications

  • Degree or Master’s in environmental, sustainability, construction, engineering or related discipline.
  • Right to work in the UK and Ireland.
  • Experience on complex infrastructure projects preferred.
  • Ability to produce clear environmental reports and documentation.
  • Knowledge of UK environmental legislation and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of environmental objectives in line with policy and client requirements.
  • Undertake site assurance visits to monitor compliance and identify good practice.
  • Promote continuous improvement in environmental and sustainability performance across teams.
  • Prepare and review Environmental Management Plans, Site Waste Management Plans and related procedures.
  • Assist with preparation of Environmental documentation and reporting.
  • Support briefings and communication to ensure environmental controls are understood by staff.
  • Monitor activities against project requirements and Ferrovial standards.
  • Prepare environmental dashboards and senior management updates.
