Job summary

Rackspace Technology is seeking a Lead Engineer to act as the primary technical contact for a dedicated account base, delivering proactive, hands-on support for complex issues and guiding customers through growth with new technologies.

The role emphasizes architecture reviews, consultative guidance, and ensuring customer satisfaction across the Fanatical Experiences program. Strong Windows/Linux knowledge and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

Expert-level knowledge of enterprise applications in one or more modules/systems.
Expert-level understanding of system capabilities and configuration options for enterprise applications.
Deep knowledge of business processes and operations.

Responsibilities

Act as a consultative resource for customers to assist them in achieving their business objectives
Pro-actively review solution architecture and propose improvements
Support the Service Account Manager in customer projects
Schedule customer maintenances and ensure quality checks
Coordinate Rackspace/Customer support teams for requests
Maintain technical documentation for customer solutions
Attend monthly/quarterly service review meetings
Identify growth opportunities and pass leads to BD consultant
Mentor and assist development of other technical staff
Strive for 80% Net Promoter Score across portfolio
Ensure high End of Ticket Ratings through clear documentation
Engage every customer in portfolio at least quarterly
Demonstrate value through architecture reviews and consultancy work
