Rackspace Technology in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Azure Systems Engineer to build, operate, and optimize enterprise-grade infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, including hybrid-cloud environments. You will bridge traditional systems administration with modern cloud operations.
Responsibilities include deploying and managing Azure IaaS, Azure Arc, ExpressRoute, OS management, identity services, automation with PowerShell and Azure CLI, and disaster recovery planning.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Systems Engineer to be responsible for building, operating, and maintaining enterprise-grade system infrastructure natively on Microsoft Azure, as well as managing complex hybrid-cloud environments. This role acts as a bridge between traditional systems administration and modern cloud operations, focus areas including operating system management (Linux/Windows), hybrid connectivity, virtualization, and identity systems within the cloud ecosystem.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several geographic markets. The compensation range for this position ranges from £56,547.00/year in our lowest geographic market up to £73,336.00/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
