Job summary
Rackspace Technology is seeking a Lead Engineer to provide hands-on technical support for large, complex problems and act as the primary technical contact for a dedicated base of customers hosting critical websites. You will guide solution architecture, drive proactive reviews, and mentor junior staff while coordinating across Rackspace and client teams.

- Expert-level knowledge of enterprise applications and modules.
- Strong understanding of system capabilities and configuration options.
- In-depth knowledge of business processes and operations.
Responsibilities
- Act as a consultative resource to help customers achieve business objectives.
- Proactively review solution architecture and propose improvements.
- Support the Service Account Manager in customer projects.
- Schedule customer maintenances and ensure quality checks.
- Respond to support requests and coordinate with Rackspace/Customer teams.
- Ensure technical documentation is in place for solutions.
- Attend monthly/quarterly service review meetings.
- Identify growth opportunities and pass leads to Sales.
- Mentor and assist in developing other technical staff.
- Strive for a high Net Promoter Score and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure customers realize value through proactive architecture reviews.
