Job summary

King’s College London seeks a Senior Data Architect to provide enterprise-level architectural direction for Data and AI in support of the university’s Strategy 2030. You will translate strategic priorities into target architectures, roadmaps and standards, collaborating with Data Owners, Data Stewards and delivery teams across Business, Data, Application and Technology Architecture.

You will define governance, enable AI readiness, and guide investments in Generative AI, MCP and cloud data

Qualifications

• Broad enterprise data architecture experience across business, data, application and technology domains.
• Experience translating strategy into enterprise data and AI capabilities, roadmaps and standards.
• Knowledge of governance architecture covering data ownership, quality, metadata and lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Provide enterprise-level strategic architecture direction for Data and AI at King’s.
• Translate priorities into target architectures, capabilities, roadmaps, principles and standards.
• Align Data and AI investments with wider university needs and governance.
