Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group in London seeks a Senior Architect to drive the technical vision, system design, and architectural governance for a large-scale, multi-domain program.

You will define end-to-end target state architectures, lead the Architecture Review Board, and guide AI integration, data mesh patterns, security, and resilience while collaborating with product, engineering, and executive stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years as Principal or Senior Architect designing large-scale enterprise distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and own end-to-end target state architecture across diverse systems, data platforms, and cloud integrations.
• Lead AI architecture roadmaps and governance for AI/ML capabilities in enterprise products.
• Provide technical leadership and governance across multiple domains and manage long-term platform health.
• Lead technical investigations into performance bottlenecks and major incidents, and prototype new architectures.
• Collaborate with business leadership, product owners, and development managers to align technical roadmaps with commercial objectives.
