Job summary

Pendo in London is seeking a Senior Customer Engineer to own strategic Enterprise accounts, lead complex deployments, and drive adoption across product lines. You will partner with Account Directors on pre-sales motions, tailor demonstrations, and guide technical evaluations to align with business outcomes.

You will build reusable playbooks, coach peers, and raise the capability of the Customer Engineering team, leveraging AI tools as a multiplier in daily work.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering, Technical Account Management, Customer Engineering, implementation, professional services, or solutions architecture.
• Deep hands-on experience with web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs, with ability to architect and troubleshoot complex front-end implementations.
• Proven experience managing strategic Enterprise accounts with executive-level stakeholders and complex requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to solve ambiguous problems with multiple variables and tradeoffs.
• Experience mentoring or coaching more junior technical team members.

Responsibilities

• New customer acquisition and pre-sales motions for growth across lines of business, delivering tailored demos and leading technical evaluations.
• Drive measurable improvements in customer health, retention, and expansion across strategic accounts; contribute reusable frameworks and playbooks.
• Identify opportunities to expand adoption across features and products; diagnose blockers and design paths forward to business value.
• Lead onboarding for strategic customers, including planning, implementation, integrations, and training; create implementation playbooks and executive visibility.
• Build playbooks, document fixes, coach peers, and share workflow insights across the team.
