Job summary

Pendo in Sheffield is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to shape AI-powered product experiences and own end-to-end delivery. You will work full-stack with a frontend lean toward TypeScript, Vue.js, and AI tooling to deliver high-quality features in a fast-moving team.

You are expected to drive product judgment, validate problems with customers, and measure impact using real usage data while collaborating with product, design, and fellow engineers.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building with LLMs and AI agents.
• Strong TypeScript and frontend skills (Vue.js) with DOM-level work.
• 3+ years of experience building and scaling web apps.
• Good product judgment with ambiguity handling.
• Experience defining success metrics from data.
• Experience engaging with customers to validate problems post-launch.
• Strong software architecture, design principles, and API development.

Responsibilities

• AI-powered feature delivery across full stack, focusing on frontend.
• Own delivery from UI to backend services, with API consideration.
• Participate in product discovery with customer feedback and prototypes.
• Define success metrics and iterate based on usage data.
• Use AI coding tools as part of daily workflow with strong judgement.
• Ensure AI features meet latency, reliability, and trust expectations.
• Mentor teammates, review code, and help the team grow.
