Job summary

DeepL is seeking a Senior Product/Platform role to drive enterprise API adoption and governance across global customers. You will own features that enable usage insights, cost controls, and secure data residency, partnering with multiple teams to deliver reliable enterprise capabilities.

You will design end-to-end services, participate in on-call rotations, and push for four nines reliability while shaping the enterprise API experience for large organizations.

Qualifications

• Experience designing scalable backend systems and APIs.
• Knowledge of enterprise API building blocks (OAuth, MCP, CLIs).
• Experience with data residency, compliance and governance features.
• Strong communication and leadership across teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive Enterprise API Adoption: own features that turn enterprise interest into durable adoption (usage insights, cost controls, governance tooling).
• Build for Governance & Compliance: design controls for IT/security (roles, projects, data residency, auditability).
• Guardianship of Quality & Production Reliability: end-to-end ownership, on-call, four nines reliability, contract testing and SLOs.
