Job summary

DeepL in London is seeking a senior engineering leader to guide a small full stack team across backend services and a customer-facing web experience. You will own the customisation surface end to end: terminology, glossaries, style rules, translation memory, and the sharing and administration around them.

You’ll shape the product with a product manager and designer, identify opportunities to unlock value, and drive adoption by focusing on usability and impact.

Qualifications

• Strong experience leading a senior full stack team.
• Proven ability to shape product direction with design and PMs.
• Experience with customer-facing web platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, grow and develop a small, senior full stack team and set technical direction.
• Own the customisation surface end to end: terminology, glossaries, style rules and translation memory.
• Shape the product with product managers and designers to define user experience.
• Identify improvements that unlock value and drive adoption.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across research, product, design and GTM teams.
• Ensure safe handling of customer-owned assets like glossaries and translation memories.
