Job summary

Zendesk in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Platform Architect to act as the technical strategist for our largest enterprise customers, architecting next‑generation service solutions that transform support centers into Autonomous Service Workforces and deliver measurable business outcomes.

You will partner with sales engineering and account teams to run strategic technical discovery, scope complex POCs, demonstrate Zendesk headless capabilities, and advise on security, data models, and

Qualifications

• 8+ years in enterprise system/solution architecture, pre-sales, or IT consulting.
• Experience architecting and deploying generative AI solutions and RAG-enabled systems.
• Advanced REST APIs, JSON, data modeling and MCP knowledge.
• Cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) and enterprise iPaaS experience.
• SSO, OAuth, data privacy, and AI authentication familiarity.
• Proven ability to communicate complex AI concepts to executives.

Responsibilities

• Strategic advisory to executives and cross-functional teams on AI architecture.
• Lead multi-step, agentic workflows with Zendesk tools to reach high automation.
• Architect integrations from Zendesk to external AI platforms and enterprise apps.
• Guide pre- and post-sales hand-offs for successful AI deployments.
• Partner with Product teams to influence future Zendesk AI roadmap.
