Job summary

Anglian Water Group Ltd. in Peterborough seeks an Engineering Standards and Products Manager to lead the Standards and Products Team, setting the strategic direction for asset standards and standard products, balancing cost, safety and carbon reduction.

You will shape governance, collaborate with engineering, procurement and alliance partners, and drive continuous improvement across MAS, Design Manuals and specifications to support a large infrastructure programme.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant discipline.
• Chartered Engineer (or equivalent) status desirable.
• Experience in engineering design or construction, ideally within water, networks or regulated infrastructure.
• Leadership and line management experience.
• Experience of working in a regulated environment with safety constraints.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver the strategic direction for engineering standards and standard products.
• Maintain and improve MAS, Design Manuals and specifications with alignment to standards.
• Develop standard products and govern designs with cross-functional teams.
• Operate robust governance processes and collaborate with designers, operators and regulators.
• Communicate, educate and inspire adoption of standardisation across the organisation.
