Job summary

Anglian Water Services seeks an experienced Engineering Standards and Products Manager to lead the Standards and Products Team from its Peterborough/base location. You will own MAS, Design Manuals and Standard Products, setting strategy and governance across assets, balancing cost, carbon, safety and long-term resilience.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant discipline is required.
• Chartered Engineer (or equivalent) status is desirable.
• Experience in engineering design or construction, ideally within water, networks or regulated infrastructure.
• Leadership and line management experience.
• Strong technical judgement, problem solving and communication skills.
• Experience coaching and developing others.
• Experience of working in an environment with regulatory, safety constraints.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver the strategic direction for Anglian Water's engineering standards and standard products.
• Maintain and improve our Minimum Asset Standards, Design Manuals and Specifications.
• Develop standard products and ensure adoption to improve quality, reduce cost and carbon.
• Operate governance processes to ensure standards are well evidenced and trusted.
• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to balance perspectives and deliver practical decisions.
