Job summary

Anglian Water Services is seeking an Engineering Standards and Products Manager to lead the Standards and Products Team. You will own MAS, design manuals and standard products, balancing cost, safety and long-term resilience across the capital programme.

You will manage a team of engineers, collaborate with alliance partners and regulators, and drive governance and continuous improvement in a senior technical leadership role.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant discipline.
• Chartered Engineer status desirable.
• Experience in engineering design or construction, ideally within water, networks or regulated infrastructure.
• Leadership and line management experience.
• Strong technical judgement, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience coaching, mentoring and developing others.
• Experience of working in an environment with regulatory, safety etc constraints.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver strategy for Anglian Water's engineering standards and standard products.
• Maintain and improve MAS, Design Manuals and Specifications.
• Lead development and governance of standard products with engineering, innovation and procurement teams.
• Operate robust governance processes ensuring standards are evidenced and trusted.
• Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, balancing perspectives to reach practical decisions.
• Champion the value of standardisation and drive adoption through clear communication and training.
