Job summary

Plentific in London is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the product engineering organisation. You will manage team leads across frontend, backend, mobile, and quality, reporting to the VP of Engineering. You will advance agentic development and drive the SDLC transformation across the teams.

You will contribute code, mentor engineers, and partner with product managers to size roadmaps, ensuring on-time delivery and high technical standards in a fast-growing platform.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of managing engineering managers and delivering across multiple teams.
• Deep technical knowledge across modern software engineering and hands-on coding when needed.
• Fluency in Python and TypeScript with production experience.
• Experience shipping ML-powered features and integrating ML systems.
• Hands-on experience with agentic development tools and SDLC tooling.
• Able to articulate trade-offs to product and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the product engineering organisation via team leads, owning delivery and quality.
• Contribute code to improve agentic tooling and developer experience; review PRs deeply.
• Roll out SDD across the engineering organisation and drive adoption.
• Partner with product managers to size roadmaps and manage delivery risks.
• Recruit, coach, and develop engineers and engineering managers.
