Job summary

You will mobilise cross-functional teams, establish delivery governance, and guide AI-enabled transformation while balancing strategic leadership with practical execution.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale software engineering or digital modernisation programmes within complex enterprise environments.
• Proven ability to engage senior client stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor across delivery and technology strategy.
• Experience mobilising and leading complex engagements with governance, teams, and direction from the outset.
• Led managers, engineers, and multidisciplinary teams with a focus on people development and high-performing culture.
• Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices, cloud-native architectures, platform engineering, and DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex technology transformation programmes and work with senior client stakeholders to deliver business-critical outcomes.
• Act as a trusted advisor to modernise technology estates and accelerate engineering maturity.
• Mobilise large-scale engagements, establish governance and team shapes from the outset.
• Balance strategic leadership with pragmatic delivery, without day-to-day coding.
• Contribute to business development, shaping propositions and sales enablement.
• Help strengthen the engineering community through mentoring and thought leadership.
