Job summary

Actian is hiring a Senior Engineering Manager for its Data Intelligence Platform. You will report to the VP of Engineering and lead a 12-person team, aligning high-level strategy with hands-on AI integration within the SDLC. The role demands architectural oversight and strong Java expertise to scale globally.

You will design and implement data-driven processes, foster a radical candor culture, and partner with Product and Design to deliver high-value outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in high-growth SaaS with strong technical depth.
• Proven ability to build and scale R&D teams rapidly.
• Interest or experience in Agentic AI systems and SDLC integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead a senior team bridging strategy and hands-on AI integration.
• Ensure architectural alignment with Team Topologies and platform goals.
• Coach leads, promote knowledge sharing and radical candor.
• Collaborate with Product, Design and Exec leadership to drive delivery.
