Job summary

Anaplan seeks a hands-on Senior Engineering Manager to build and lead our Enterprise Grade AI Platform. You will drive the execution of our conversational AI and agentic AI roadmap, managing a team of engineers while remaining hands-on yourself.

You will mentor a 5–8 person AI team, own delivery roadmaps, and drive end-to-end features with strong emphasis on testing, CI/CD, and production readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience with agentic frameworks and autonomous agent architectures.
• Strong project management skills with Agile/Scrum.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying AI applications in production.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in Python and modern software development practices.
• Deep knowledge of LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and conversational AI patterns.
• Mentor engineers and build cohesive, productive teams.
• Proven track record delivering complex technical projects on time.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a team of AI engineers (5-8) and drive delivery velocity.
• Own the team's delivery roadmap and prioritise features with product management.
• Establish engineering best practices, testing strategies, and deployment patterns.
• Lead sprint planning, design reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with AI Solutions Architects to translate vision into plans.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AI applications and prompt regression tests.
• Partner with platform teams to integrate AI features with core infrastructure.
• Communicate progress, risks, and technical decisions to leadership.
