Actian Corporation in the United Kingdom is seeking an AI Enablement Lead to architect and scale our AI enablement strategy, building platforms, tooling, and frameworks that empower product and engineering teams to deploy AI safely and rapidly.

You will drive LLMOps, governance, cost and latency optimization, and cross‑functional upskilling, delivering production‑grade AI features across the Actian Data Intelligence Platform.

Qualifications

• Senior AI/ML Engineer or equivalent with enterprise SaaS/data platforms background.
• Deep expertise in Python/Go, vector DBs, LLM orchestration, and prompt design.
• Proactive ownership and ability to lead cross‑functional AI initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain AI orchestration layers and production‑ready tooling.
• Embed AI features into the Actian Data Intelligence Platform with core engineering teams.
• Establish LLMOps governance, guardrails, and model evaluation frameworks.
• Monitor cost, latency, and security across AI deployments and pipelines.
• Upskill and empower non‑AI teams to build AI‑driven features.
• Lead PoCs to production with scalable, robust code.
• Standardize tooling for vector stores, embeddings, and caching.
• Assess open‑source and vendor AI models to keep Actian at the cutting edge.
• Track AI impact metrics like adoption and time‑to‑market reductions.
