Qualifications

• Incorporated member of a professional institution (e.g. IEng MICE) with demonstrable experience.
• Experience leading the delivery of construction engineering services including temporary works design, design management and technical assessments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to CPD and promoting best practice within engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of temporary works design, tender support and design management across projects.
• Manage workloads of engineers and technical staff, ensuring technical compliance and quality of deliverables.
• Act as the lead representative at project meetings, maintaining client relationships and ensuring contractual obligations.
• Oversee financial and commercial aspects of projects, monitor progress against programme and budget.
• Provide leadership, conduct performance reviews and mentor staff within Kier Design.
