Kier Group plc. is seeking a Senior Engineer to join our Kier Design team, based in multiple UK locations. We offer agile working with up to 1-2 days from home per week and a 40-hour week.

This role sits within a 100+ strong design and engineering unit, delivering temporary works design and construction-related technical services across high-profile projects. You will lead the delivery of construction engineering services, manage engineers and staff, represent the project at meetings with

Qualifications

• Member of a professional engineering institution or demonstrable construction engineering experience.
• Experience delivering temporary works design, design management and technical assessments.
• Strong communication skills with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilités

• Leading the delivery of temporary works design, tender support, alternative solutions, and design management advice across projects.
• Managing day-to-day workloads of engineers and technical staff, ensuring technical compliance and quality of design deliverables.
• Acting as the lead representative at project meetings, developing positive relationships with clients and ensuring contractual obligations are met.
• Overseeing the financial and commercial aspects of projects, monitoring progress against programme and budget.
• Providing leadership to your team, conducting performance reviews, managing workloads, and supporting staff development.
