Job summary

Kier Group plc is seeking a Senior Engineer to join Kier Design across multiple locations in the UK. You will lead the delivery of construction engineering services, with a focus on temporary works design and design management, ensuring buildability, safety and compliance across a diverse project portfolio.

Based in a hybrid working setup (with office and site collaboration) you will mentor engineers, liaise with clients and multidisciplinary teams, and drive high standards through the project

Qualifications

• Member of a relevant professional institution with demonstrable experience.
• Experience leading construction engineering services including temporary works.
• Ability to manage projects and ensure regulatory and quality compliance.
• Strong communication with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of temporary works design across projects.
• Manage day-to-day workloads of engineers and technical staff.
• Represent Kier at project meetings with clients, ensuring obligations.
• Monitor progress against programme and budget.
• Provide leadership and mentoring within Kier Design.
