Job summary

Kier Group plc is hiring a Senior Engineer for Kier Design across multiple locations in the UK. You will lead delivery of construction engineering services, with a focus on temporary works design and design management, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Hybrid working is available with agile options and up to 1-2 days at home per week. The role involves client liaison, project leadership, and mentoring colleagues within Kier Design.

Qualifications

• Incorporated member of a relevant professional institution (e.g. IEng MICE) or equivalent construction engineering experience.
• Experience leading delivery of construction engineering services including temporary works design and design management.
• Strong communication skills to work with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of temporary works design, tender support, and design management advice.
• Manage workloads of engineers and technical staff while ensuring design quality.
• Represent the project at meetings, build client relationships, and ensure contractual obligations.
• Oversee project financials, progress against programme, and budget.
• Provide leadership and mentoring within Kier Design.
