Job summary

MacStaff is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead day-to-day engineering delivery on hyperscale data centre packages in East London. You will provide technical leadership during construction, coordinate temporary works, and resolve design interfaces to meet quality, safety and programme targets.

The role is based at a prominent development site in London with opportunities for professional growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Experience delivering engineering activities on major construction or infrastructure projects.
Proven support in temporary works coordination.
Knowledge of data centre construction or high-security environments (desirable).
CSCS Manager Card and temporary works awareness.
Working towards Chartered Engineer status (desirable).

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day engineering delivery of allocated packages.
Provide clear technical leadership during construction.
Manage temporary works coordination and interfaces.
Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering resources.
Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and programme requirements.
Support site development at a major development site in London.
