Job summary

TClarke in London is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join the delivery team on a major hyperscale data centre project.

The role spans preconstruction through to completion over a multi-year programme, working with the Mechanical Project Manager and wider team to coordinate mechanical services, oversee installation and commissioning, and ensure quality and programme compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering mechanical building services projects.
• Strong HVAC, pipework and plantroom knowledge.
• Experience through design, construction and commissioning.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and specs.
• Experience coordinating with contractors and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Support the Mechanical Project Manager with delivering the mechanical services package.
• Coordinate mechanical design, installation and commissioning activities.
• Review drawings, specifications and design information.
• Coordinate with design teams, subcontractors and other MEP disciplines.
• Assist with technical queries, RFIs and design development.
• Support procurement and management of mechanical subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor progress against programme and identify issues.
• Attend design, coordination and progress meetings.
• Support commissioning, handover and close-out.
