Job summary

Sphere Solutions, a leading contractor, is recruiting 2 experienced Senior Engineers to support two major hyperscale data centre developments in London.

You will lead day-to-day engineering delivery, provide technical guidance to construction teams, and ensure works meet programme, drawings, specs and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering engineering activities on major construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing.
• Experience managing technical queries, records and site coordination.
• Knowledge of temporary works coordination.
• CSCS Manager Card held or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day engineering delivery of allocated project packages.
• Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams.
• Coordinate engineering activities to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme.
• Manage technical queries (RFIs), engineering documentation and project records.
• Coordinate design information, interfaces and temporary works.
• Support workface planning and ensure engineering information is available ahead of construction activities.
• Identify and resolve engineering constraints to maintain progress.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Support inspections, testing, NCRs and corrective actions.
• Monitor engineering progress, report risks and contribute to project delivery.

What you will be doing

What we are looking for
