Job summary

MacStaff is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead day-to-day engineering delivery on hyperscale data centre packages in East London. You will provide technical leadership during construction, coordinate temporary works, and resolve design interfaces to meet quality, safety and programme targets.

The role is based at a prominent development site in London with opportunities for professional growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience delivering engineering activities on major construction or infrastructure projects.
• Proven support in temporary works coordination.
• Knowledge of data centre construction or high-security environments (desirable).
• CSCS Manager Card and temporary works awareness.
• Working towards Chartered Engineer status (desirable).

You will have

To be successful as Senior Engineer here, you will have a healthy mix of the following:

• A Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience delivering engineering activities on major construction or infrastructure projects.
• Proven support in temporary works coordination and construction methodologies.
• Solid understanding of technical query management, engineering records, and design interfaces.
• Knowledge of data centre construction or similar high-security environments (desirable).
• Working towards Chartered Engineer status (desirable).
• CSCS Manager Card and temporary works awareness.
• A proactive approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams effectively.
