Castrol is seeking a Senior Engineer for its Advanced Electrification Testing (AET) team at the Pangbourne Technology Centre. You will lead R&D testing projects, design and operate high‑end test rigs, and develop methodologies for EVs, batteries, and data centres.

You’ll translate data into actionable insights and collaborate with OEMs and partners. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in engineering, a strong testing background, and experience with high‑voltage systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Physics.
• 5+ years in a professional engineering environment.
• Experience in engineering testing and data-driven problem solving.
• Experience designing or operating complex test equipment.

• Lead end-to-end testing and engineering projects.
• Design, build, commission and operate advanced test rigs.
• Develop innovative testing methodologies for EVs, batteries, data centres.
