PIE Recruitment is seeking a field-based role in the UK focused on testing electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles. You will travel to dealerships and remarketing sites, testing EVs and collecting data to improve a battery diagnostics product. A direct reporting line to the CTO provides visibility into product development.

The role offers autonomy, on-the-road testing, and long-term stability in a growing company backed by government funding.

Qualificações

• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Experience in a practical or field-based role such as vehicle technician, inspector, appraiser or field service engineer.
• Meticulous, reliable and able to organise your diary with minimal daily supervision.
• Comfort using laptops, smartphones and apps; EV/diagnostic experience useful but not essential.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and manage your own schedule of site visits, typically four days a week on the road.
• Test EVs and PHEVs at customer sites, recording vehicle data accurately every time.
• Find and assess makes and models not yet supported, flagging anything unusual.
• Represent the business professionally on site and pass useful customer feedback to the right people.
