Advanced Insulation Systems Ltd is seeking a Battery Test Engineer in Aberdare, UK to support automotive and energy sector testing services. You will set up and run battery test procedures, generate clear reports, and work with technical teams to ensure accurate test setups and requirement alignment.

The role requires a BSc in engineering, experience with battery test solutions, CAN systems, and data analysis using Vector, MATLAB/Simulink, and Excel.

Qualifications

BSc in engineering or equivalent with professional qualifications.
Experience designing, testing and building battery test solutions.
Experience with electronics and testing equipment for battery systems.
Experience with CAN communications systems and vehicle logging setups.
Ability to perform data analysis with standard automation tools for battery testing.

Responsibilities

Set up and execute complex battery tests and procedures.
