Aldwych Consulting Ltd is recruiting a Senior Engineer to join a major civil infrastructure project in Portsmouth. Reporting to Project Managers, you will lead site engineering teams, manage subcontractors, and ensure works are delivered to programme.

You will be responsible for RAMS preparation, ITPs, quality records, and creating short-term and monthly programmes for your section. This role offers progression toward Site Agent or Project Manager.

Formación

• Senior Engineer experience in civil engineering projects.
• CSCS card holder and full UK driving licence.
• Ability to prepare RAMS and ensure ITP compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead site engineering teams and subcontractors to deliver works safely to programme.
• Prepare, review and implement RAMS prior to works.
• Ensure ITPs are completed and maintained to industry standards.
• Maintain records including setting out, as-built information and quality docs.
• Produce and update short-term and monthly programmes for the section.

Our client, a well-established civil engineering contractor, is seeking to appoint a Senior Engineer to work on a major infrastructure project. This role offers a challenging scope of works, excellent exposure to complex engineering, and an opportunity to work on an exciting project. This is a fantastic opportunity to progress your career towards being a Site Agent or Project Manager. Reporting to Project Managers, you will be responsible for managing a designated section of the works, including:

• Managing site engineering teams and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely and to programme.
• Preparing, reviewing, and implementing RAMS prior to works commencing.
• Ensuring Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) are completed, recorded, and maintained to industry standards.
• Monitoring site activities to ensure compliance with health & safety requirements and company procedures, resolving any issues promptly.
• Maintaining accurate records, including setting out, as-built information, and quality documentation.
• Producing and updating short-term and monthly programmes for your section of works.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a Senior Engineer role within civil engineering
• A valid CSCS card.
• A full UK driving licence.
