Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking an Engagement professional to join the UK-wide Planning and Consents team. You will help communities understand projects, run consultations, and publish accessible communications across water, health, energy and environmental sectors.

Working under experienced mentors, you’ll develop stakeholder engagement strategies, support public consultations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on iconic infrastructure programmes across the UK.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or comparable professional experience in a relevant field.
• Membership of a relevant professional or trade body is welcomed but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Writing easy-to-understand communications to help communities and stakeholders understand projects and potential impacts.
• Organising events and surveys to give people opportunities to ask questions and provide feedback.
• Presenting feedback and reporting themes and key issues for project development and decision-making.
• Developing virtual consultation rooms, posters, banners and public-facing maps, and supporting community engagement events.
• Managing projects to ensure timelines, budgets and resources deliver for the client.
