Job summary

WSP is seeking a Communications & Engagement professional to join our UK Engagement team. You will help connect major infrastructure projects with communities, crafting clear communications and supporting public consultations across water, health, energy and environmental sectors.

You will be mentored by senior engagement specialists within the Planning and Consents unit, collaborating with colleagues to deliver thoughtful, high-quality engagement and communications that bring projects to life

Qualifications

• Degree or comparable professional experience in a relevant field.
• Membership of a relevant professional body welcomed but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Help communities and stakeholders understand projects through clear communications.
• Publish communications, organise events and run surveys to gather feedback.
• Present feedback to inform project development and report themes and key issues.
• Provide communication and engagement support to UK and international clients, including virtual consultation rooms, posters, banners and public facing maps.
• Manage projects ensuring timelines, budgets and resources meet client expectations.
