Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is expanding its UK Engagement team and seeks a communications professional to help connect major projects with communities.

You will contribute to public consultation and stakeholder engagement across water, health, energy and environmental sectors. You will be mentored by senior engagement specialists within the Planning and Consents unit, creating clear communications, supporting events, and helping deliver engagement that mirrors best practice and delivers positive community

Qualifications

Degree or comparable professional experience in a relevant field.
Membership of a relevant professional or trade body is welcomed but not essential.
Experience in one or more sectors such as roads, rail, utilities, water, environment or energy.
Experience contributing to or leading engagement on multi-disciplinary projects; ability to analyze data and support reports.

Responsibilities

Explaining projects to communities and stakeholders through accessible communications.
Facilitating questions and feedback via events, surveys and published communications.
Presenting feedback to inform project development and reporting.
Advising on communications and engagement for UK and international clients, including virtual consultation rooms and public-facing maps.
