Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking an Assistant Consultant to join the UK Engagement team. You will help diverse communities understand major infrastructure projects and gather feedback through clear communications, events, and surveys.

Based in the UK, you will collaborate across the Planning and Consents business unit, assisting senior engagement specialists and delivering high‑quality stakeholder engagement across water, health, energy and environmental sectors.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in a related field or two years of relevant experience in engagement, communications, planning or consultation.
• Membership of a relevant professional or trade body (or willingness to work towards one).
• Experience with projects in road, rail, utilities, water, environment or energy sectors is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Help communities understand projects by writing clear, accessible communications.
• Facilitate questions and feedback via published communications, events, and surveys.
• Present feedback to inform project development and report writing.
• Support UK and international teams by attending meetings, minuting discussions, and tracking engagement.
• Collaborate with project, location, and Engagement teams to deliver quality communications.
