Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking an Engagement professional to join our UK-wide team. You will contribute to public consultation and stakeholder engagement for major infrastructure projects across the water, health, energy and environmental sectors.

You will collaborate with colleagues across WSP to create clear communications that inform communities and bring projects to life. The role offers mentoring from senior specialists and opportunities to grow in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or comparable professional experience in a relevant field.
• Membership of a relevant professional or trade body is welcomed but not essential.
• Experience in sectors such as roads, rail, utilities, water, environment or energy.
• Experience contributing to or leading engagement activities on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Mentoring or supporting colleagues is valued.

Responsibilities

• Write accessible communications to help communities understand projects.
• Publish communications, organise events and run surveys for questions and feedback.
• Present feedback to inform project development and report themes.
• Provide engagement advice to clients across the UK and internationally.
• Manage projects ensuring timelines, budgets and resources are met.
