Job summary

SmartestEnergy UK is seeking an Onboarding professional to drive a seamless customer onboarding experience for change of supply activities. You will collaborate across key handover stages, perform pre-registration checks, and set up customer and business billing to ensure a positive first billing experience.

You will also provide technical expertise and operational support to the Onboarding Team Leader, help with training, reporting, and workload management, and act as deputy on technical

Job description

You will play a key role in delivering a seamless onboarding experience for our customers by ensuring all change of supply activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and without exception. Success in this role will be driven through strong collaboration at key customer handover stages, thorough pre-registration checks of industry data, and the effective setup of customer and business billing arrangements to support a positive first billing experience.

Alongside your onboarding responsibilities, you will provide technical expertise and operational support to the Onboarding Team Leader, contributing to training, reporting, and workload management activities. You will also act as a deputy for the Team Leader on technical initiatives, helping to drive projects forward and ensuring timely and effective communication of progress and outcomes.

What skills/experience do I need to be successful?

• A strong understanding of the Onboarding process from end-to-end;
• relevant industry experience or knowledge;
• A strong understanding of the Customer Journey across Operations;
• Good all round industry knowledge.
