Job summary

Regional Recruitment Services in Leicester is seeking an experienced Employment Law Solicitor to join an established legal team. You will manage a varied caseload, advising employers and individuals on a wide range of employment issues.

The role combines advisory and contentious work, with opportunities to handle tribunal matters, draft contracts, policies and settlement agreements, and to develop client relationships in a commercially minded practice.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor status in England & Wales.
• Experience in an employment law team.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation.
• Experience handling tribunal matters.
• Good experience advising on contracts, policies and workplace issues.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise employers and employees on a broad range of employment law matters.
• Handle employment tribunal claims and contentious matters.
• Advise on disciplinary and grievance procedures.
• Provide guidance on redundancy, restructuring and settlement agreements.
• Advise on discrimination, whistleblowing and unfair dismissal matters.
• Draft and review employment contracts, policies and related documentation.
• Advise on employee performance and workplace issues.
• Assist with negotiations and dispute resolution.
• Represent clients in employment tribunal proceedings where required.
• Prepare pleadings, witness statements and other legal documentation.
• Conduct legal research and provide clear, practical advice.
