Job summary

BCL Legal is seeking a Senior Associate or Legal Director to join its Employment team in Birmingham. You will handle a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, advise on disciplinary issues, TUPE, and manage Employment Tribunal matters.

This role offers significant client responsibility, opportunities to develop the team, and flexible working options. The candidate will supervise junior lawyers and contribute to business development.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor or equivalent with significant employment law experience.
• Demonstrable experience across contentious, non-contentious and transactional employment matters.
• Excellent drafting and communication skills to advise clients effectively.

Responsibilities

• Advise a broad range of clients including businesses, HR professionals, in-house teams and senior executives.
• Handle a varied caseload across contentious and non-contentious matters, including TUPE considerations.
• Supervise and support junior lawyers, trainees and paralegals and contribute to the growth of the Employment practice.
• Contribute to business development and build strong client relationships across the firm.
