Job summary

Trident Group in the United Kingdom is seeking an Employee Relations Advisor to manage a varied caseload and advise on workplace relations matters. You will work with managers, People & Culture colleagues and trade unions to resolve issues fairly and legally.

You will provide practical, timely advice on conduct, performance and absence, maintain records, and escalate where needed. Knowledge of UK employment law and CIPD Level 5 is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge of UK employment law and its practical application.
• Experience in employee-relations, HR advisory or HR casework.
• Experience supporting workplace investigations, hearings and appeals.
• Experience working with trade unions or employee representatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear, practical advice to managers on conduct, capability, performance and absence issues.
• Manage an allocated caseload from referral to resolution with proper records.
• Advise on processes, timescales, evidence and risks.
• Support consistent policy application with individual adjustments as needed.
• Identify cases for escalation to senior HR leaders or external advisers.
• Monitor progress and ensure timely action within service standards.
• Offer informal resolution, mediation and early intervention where appropriate.
