Job summary

S Knights Recruitment seeks a Lead Employability Tutor to drive high-quality, government-funded employability training across West Yorkshire. You will own programme delivery, learner progress and day-to-day operations, while remaining hands-on with learners and collaborating with partners.

You will lead on learning delivery, attendance, progression, ILPs and RARPA, delivering construction and green skills where applicable, helping learners move into employment, apprenticeships or further

Qualifications

• Strong experience delivering government-funded Employability programmes.
• Proven ability to deliver engaging classroom-based learning.
• Experience taking ownership of programme delivery and learner outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging employability, confidence-building and workplace-readiness sessions.
• Manage learner engagement, attendance, retention and progression.
• Support learner induction, initial assessment, ILPs and RARPA.
• Take ownership of day-to-day programme delivery and coordination.
• Monitor learner progress and provide appropriate interventions.
• Work with employers and partners to create progression opportunities.
• Prepare learners for work experience, employer engagement and interviews.
• Support learners into employment, apprenticeships or further training.
• Maintain accurate learner records and programme documentation.
• Collaborate with tutors, technical specialists and stakeholders.
• Deliver Construction and/or Green Skills training where relevant.
• Support programme quality, reporting and continuous improvement.
