Job summary

Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust is seeking experienced Emergency Care Practitioners/Emergency Nurse Practitioners to join the Minor Injury Units in Crowborough and Uckfield. The posts offer flexible hours (full-time and part-time) with clinical leadership responsibilities and a focus on safety and patient experience.

The role supports development of the MIU, staff education, and ongoing governance, under the ENP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Essential nursing qualifications and live PIN
• Postgraduate CPD and reflective practice
• Master level or equivalent training and experience

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct care to Minor Injuries Unit patients
• Lead nursing care standards and contribute to audits
• Assist in managing unit resources and staff schedules
• Develop and implement learning and training needs for the unit
• Maintain equipment safety and regulatory compliance
• Support budgeting and procurement within approved spend
