Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience as an Emergency Care Practitioner (ECP) or Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP) in acute or urgent care settings.
• Ability to assess and manage minor injuries and plan safe discharge in line with ENP guidelines.
• Ability to lead education, training, and professional development within the unit.

Responsibilities

• a) Deliver clinical leadership and governance within the unit.
• b) Assess, diagnose and manage patients with minor injuries.
• c) Organise staffing and resources to ensure safe discharge.
• d) Ensure staff training and compliance with ENP guidelines.
• e) Maintain risk management and safety procedures.
• f) Manage equipment checks and report faults.
• g) Contribute to major incident planning and response as required.
• h) Develop and monitor the unit budget and supplies.
