Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Hebburn, England, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design and implement embedded software for Power System Protection devices. You will work with embedded C/C++ and contribute to Linux OS customization for embedded targets, collaborating with hardware, tests, and product teams.

You will write robust firmware, perform unit and system testing, participate in code reviews, and produce clear technical documentation in line with Siemens development processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• Experience in embedded software development using C/C++ for embedded targets.
• Understanding of microcontrollers and embedded systems architecture.
• Familiarity with Linux OS in embedded environments and kernel/bootloader customization.

Responsibilities
